Cancer Support Ministry

Evening of Hope for People Affected by Cancer

The Evening of Hope occurs on the first Sunday in April each year, as NBUC's contribution to Cancer Month. It provides spiritual and emotional support for people affected by cancer: people on the cancer journey presently, people in remission, family members, relatives of people who have died of cancer, and health care professionals.

The event has spawned new ministries, including the building of Wellspring, a community-based support program for people affected by cancer in Brampton and Caledon.
