The Carnival is North Bramalea's annual gift to the families of Brampton. It offers families a day of fun with their kids that includes Pony Rides, a Climbing Wall, a Dunk Tank, Bouncy Castle, Mini Golf and so much more - all at no cost.

The Carnival was born out of a desire to honour and remember Lucas Holtom, who died at the age of 2 in the Pine Lake tornado. It has been our hope that each year we might share the joy that Lucas had with many others, while at the same time being reminded of the preciousness of each day. Now in its 18th year, this event engages over 250 volunteers and attracts over 3500 people to Leander Park behind the church.

The Lucas Holtom free family carnival was established to honour and remember the life of Jamie and Katrina Holtom's 2 year old son Lucas who was killed in a tornado in Alberta back in 2000. Last summer Jamie and Katrina were interviewed on the Drew Marshall show about the carnival and the events that lead to its' creation.

As you listen to the interview, you will hear the story and feel the emotion of what has transpired but more than that, you will hear God's message of Hope in the middle of a terrible situation.

Sponsorship is an integral part of the success of the Carnival. If your company would like to participate please print our sponsorship letter found on this page.
